Global Conservatory Roof
The Global aluminium and PVC-U conservatory roof system has been designed without compromise and tested to the highest standards, bringing you a solid, weather-proof conservatory system with exceptional thermal performance in a range of traditional and modern styles.
Our precision-engineered security locking bolt eradicates movement between the bolt and rafter, giving a strong and rigid anti-slip joint connection.
Perfect lead flashing
The starter bar is designed to leave a perfect lead flashing line seamlessly connecting house and conservatory with a watertight seal and no need for lead top capping.
Low level gasket system
Designed with concealed gaskets to prevent unsightly lines, ensuring your conservatory roof has a clean finish.
Single bolt fixing
Our single bolt design keeps the conservatory watertight, with bolt fixings sitting within their own purpose designed channels which are concealed from view with decorative internal trims.
Aluminium top caps
Our woodgrain and painted external top caps are made from aluminium to prevent warping and distortion, even in extreme weather conditions.
Decorative end caps
All external rafter end caps have a decorative shoulder around the visible face to ensure the finished conservatory looks complete from every angle.
Range of styles
We can help you design your conservatory in any style, with popular ranges including Georgian, Victorian and Gable.
Global roof has been exhaustively tested and can withstand the most extreme weather conditions including a snow load of more than 2.7m and wind speeds of 250 k/ph.
High strength rafters
Rafter bars are designed for increased loads so there’s no need to compromise on specifications for structural design or weather performance.
Elegant tie bar
Cross-bracing internal tie bars may be required for roof stability, but we’ve designed elegant solutions which don’t intrude into the head room of the conservatory.
Insulated box gutter
Our innovative box gutter is twin skinned and insulated to reduce condensation with a special fixing plate that ensures no holes are drilled into the gutter.
The flexible valley is designed to suit varying pitches and angles, and is cloaked internally and externally to give an attractive aesthetic appearance.
Range of ridges
We offer three alternative, easy-to-fabricate ridge details to ensure the right ridge can be specified for each projects.
Global Conservatory Roofs - Lean-To
The Lean-to style of conservatory is usually rectangular with a roof that slopes away from the property. The effect is modern, uncomplicated, with clean and simple lines, making them suitable for all house designs. A Lean-to is often referred to as a sun room or garden room, and is an ideal style for properties with a limited amount of space. The pitch of the roof is variable so it is able to fit under low roofs, such as commonly found on bungalows, or with a steeper pitch for a detached house.
Global Conservatory Roofs - P-shaped
By combining a mix of conservatory shapes you will be able to achieve more space and greater levels of flexibility ? why not add a Lean-to to a Georgian, or a Lean-to and a Victorian, with a 3 or 5 faceted front? Whether you are wanting to create a P or T-shaped conservatory or something more unusual, such as a raised lantern roof design, we will handle the whole project for you - from design through to project management and build. Leaving you with a custom-made conservatory perfectly suited to your individual requirements.
Global Conservatory Roofs - Victorian
The Victorian conservatory is a timeless design that adds a touch of elegance to your home. Victorian conservatories typically have a 3 or 5 panel faceted end which gives them their unique look and charm.
This multi-faceted bay gives excellent all-round views and can help extend your enjoyment of your garden, as you watch the changing seasons from the comfort of your new conservatory. The Victorian conservatory also provides an elegant way to soften the transition between your house and garden.
Global Conservatory Roofs - Global Summer
By choosing our orangery system you are buying a stylish enhancement of Global, the UK's No. 1 conservatory roofing system. Decorative gutter fascias provide external 'cornice' detailing, whilst internal pelmet pods create an easy and practical former for plastering, prior to the fitting of downlighters or audio speakers. With a choice of 'raised line' or 'low line' solutions for internal aesthetics, Global Summer delivers all the benefits of the proven Global conservatory roof with added orangery style! Global roof has been passed by the Board of Agrement (BBA) to ensure that it can stand up to the most extreme weather conditions.
Global Conservatory Roofs - Gable
Gable style conservatories have two sloped roof sections ending in a vertical gable end, like many house designs. The Gable style of conservatory works extremely well with older properties, and can help to echo the style of the main building. With a sense of architectural grandeur, the Gable end conservatory offers a light and airy design, additional headroom and excellent use of the available internal floor space.
Global Conservatory Roofs - Edwardian
The Edwardian, or Georgian, conservatory will allow your new extension to flood with light due to its high roof style which gives the room a bright and airy feel. With its flat front and rectangular/square shape, the conservatory ensures no wasted space, so plenty of room for your furniture, plants or new kitchen. This style of conservatory can be installed onto any property, but the styling is best showcased on properties with existing Georgian or Edwardian architecture or features. Referred to as either a Georgian or Edwardian style, this is a classic conservatory type that combines practicality with style. The straight sides of the conservatory also make it an ideal choice for combining with a bi-fold door, creating a stunning and versatile addition to your home.
Global Variable Pelmet
Fit Quicker : Fit Better
Pre-assembled and prepped brackets plus pre-bolted rafters on our variable pelmet means less time on site, and minimal fuss.
Fewer components and a design utilising filmed glass rather than inferior looking polycarb infills make this the easiest way to ensure quality installations.
Our variable pelmet system adapts to varying roof pitches and valleys seen in P and T-shaped conservatories, covering pitches from 12.5˚ to 35˚and spans up to a massive 1100mm.
